Neighborhood Career School is the fast track to a living-wage career. Let’s get you ready. You’ve been accepted, and now it’s time to lock in your spot for Day 1. Before you’re officially enrolled, you must complete all required assessments and your Pre-Coaching Session.
Admissions Assessments & Pre-coaching session
These steps help us understand your goals and build your personal path forward, and they must be finished before your session. If you need access to a computer, internet, or extra support, click the link below to schedule time in our open computer lab. Let’s go.
Reading & Math Assessments
Duration: 5-10min
Location: On a computer
These assessments must be completed on a computer and are not compatible with phones or tablets. You will have 20 minutes for the reading assessment and 20 minutes for the math assessment through Wonderlic Online. You will need to register with your email and create a password. *If you need a computer, schedule time to use one in our career lab.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Next, we’ll initiate a background check through Checkr. Your background does not disqualify you. It simply helps us understand how to best support your success in the program. Keep an eye on your email for a link to authorize the screening.
Pre-Coaching Session
Follow the link below and schedule your 1 hour pre-coaching session. This session will discuss your goals, career track plans, and pathway through our program. You will need to bring a copy of your GED, High School diploma, or transcripts.
